Earning More
Before you start earning more, you need to create an agency with a specific brand. For more information and examples on how to do that, read our post here:
For Tango Partners: What is a Brand?
Once you’ve done that and you’re ready to begin earning, follow these steps to maximize profits for your agency and your broadcasters!
1. #hashtag Your Agency
Hashtags are important for several reasons:
- Helps your agency to stand out.
- Makes it easier for people to find you.
- Users can use your agency’s hashtag to find broadcasters you represent.
- It’s super easy!
Make sure that your broadcasters are including your agency’s hashtag when they go live and when they make posts on their feed.
As a bonus! Include a personalized emoji as well. Think of it as a brand logo – it will help you stand out from the crowd and grab your audience’s attention.
2. Team Up with Other Agencies
As someone in charge of a partner agency, if you put in a little effort to organize battles with other agencies, you will see massive rewards.
- Find other agencies whose artists perform talents similar to yours.
- Pick an agency that is in a different region from yourself (different regions bring different gifters = more money).
- Pick a time of day that you know your viewers and their viewers will be online.
- Promote the event ahead of time and encourage your broadcasters to do the same!
The best part about having gifters from different countries competing against one another is that, like the Olympics, people passionately want the viewer from their country to win!
Start the game and, providing you promoted it well, prepare to watch viewers gifting your streamers left and right!
3. Start Tournaments
Battles are a great way to promote your agency and see a boost in income. Do you know what’s even better than battles though?
Tournaments.
Tournaments are for larger agencies that have enough people to participate.
- Recommended a minimum of 8 people per agency, if only 2 agencies.
- 2 people per battle.
- The winner moves on to the next round.
The more agencies, the better. Additionally, you each agency can agree on a prize to give to the broadcaster who wins 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. in order to inspire broadcasters to bring their best talent!
4. Create Promotional Banners
Banners are perfect for social media or posting on your Tango feed in order to get fans and viewers excited about upcoming battles, tournaments, and other events.
You don’t need to go out and hire someone in order to create a professional-looking banner. There are plenty of great sites that allow you to make free and great-looking banners:
Tango Tip! Make sure that when you post them on your various channels you include your hashtag (like we talked about in the first tip!).
5. Have Inter-Agency Prizes
Rewarding your broadcasters is one of the best ways to inspire them to bring their A-game to their streams!
You don’t have to wait for battles and tournaments to consider rewarding your streamers, you can also offer monthly rewards based on things like:
- Most hours streamed
- Most diamonds earned
- Most followers
- Best streams
- Best backgrounds
It can be whatever you decide, and having a few of them is even better!
Just remember, a little bit of generosity can go a long way with your streamers. It keeps them motivated and inspired to keep streaming and doing better and better each month.
6. Inter-Agency Battles
You don’t have to go out and find other agencies in order to have great battles. Not when you have great streamers right in your agency!
Even though this probably won’t get you quite as many new followers as you would with battles against other agencies, it helps you create a culture of fun mixed with a little competition within your own agency.
It is still a fun event for both your broadcasters and your fans and gives everyone something to look forward to. Partners who schedule battles within their agency often see significant financial rewards as a result!
7. Inter-Agency Live Parties
Similar to inter-agency battles, inter-agency live parties are streams involving 3 or more streamers. It’s a lot of fun and brings together fans from each broadcaster.
This lets each streamers’ fans see other streamers within your agency. Now, they’re more likely to give money to a broadcaster from within your agency, which only brings money back to you!
Additionally, it’s a way for streamers to bond and just have a good time together. If you want your agency to feel a bit more like a family, this is the way to do it.
8. Live Parties with Other Agencies
Looking to expand your audience and find fans from other agencies? This is the way to do it!
Make sure you extend the invite to whoever excels at Live Parties within your agencies. With so many people broadcasting at once it can often be hard to stand out. The right streamers will bring plenty of fans and followers right to you!
9. Change Who You Stream With
Many Partners make the mistake of thinking that if their agency is filled with singers, then they should only partner up with other singing agencies.
We’re here to tell you that this is not true! Mixing up who you stream with is a great way to attract a whole new audience and make your broadcasters’ streams much more fun and engaging.
It also doesn’t limit you as much when it comes to finding other agencies. The more agencies, the more fans, which all means more $$$!
10. Be Your Broadcasters’ Biggest Fan!
As they say, save the best for last!
Good Partners don’t let their broadcasters stream alone! Instead, they’re checking in on them; seeing when they go live, showing up to their shows, supporting them, following their activity, and giving them feedback to help them improve their performances.
If you can, make sure to give your broadcaster a gift every now and then as well. Not only does this encourage them to try harder, but it can start a domino effect that has other viewers gifting them as well!
