šA Sneak Preview to the World of Mohš
šNow is Your Moment to meet one of the most respected and influential supporters on our platform! Moh is a prestigious Tango Supporter, Black Diamond VIP member, and Head of the The Moh Family (winner of our recent Family Playoffs Tournament!)š
Weāre excited to take you on a journey to the world of Moh in this exclusive interview!š
Moh comes from Saudi Arabiašøš¦. He joined Tango 6 months ago when his friend recommended the app.Ā
In the past 6 months, he managed to lead one of the top communities in Tango,Ā
The Moh Family, spreading values of unity, friendship and love among his very own communityā¤ļø
When asked how he started his Tango Family, Moh shared his insight and skills into the making of this epic community:Ā
āDown the road, I started to develop some Tango skills i.e. making new friends, communicating with people in their stream, chat and more. With time, those friends got closer and my Tango experience had reached its maturity. By then, I loved the idea of Tangoās “family” feature and had created mine which was based on fun, care and respectā.
Fairly new to Tango, Moh shared with us that as a newbie, he enjoyed Tangoās warm welcome, and loved experiencing different cultures and meeting new people from all around the world. He specifically liked that Tango provided a safe environment for him to be treated with love and respect, forming new friendships which created the goal for Mohās Family – helping each individual who joins his community feel welcomed.
šStarting Your Own Communityš
If you want to start your own community on Tango, we suggest you stick to Mohās golden rule:Ā
āRespect each others’ differences ā perspectives, cultures, beliefs and so on; and don’t ever judge a book by its cover.”
šGot Inspired?š
We wanted to hear in Mohās words what makes Tango so special to him, and more importantly how we inspired him:
āTango, to me, is an entertaining place to jump on and share good times with my loved ones. It has something for everyone ā and you can find some friendly games like versus battles, music shows, deep or fun conversations and more, it simply has it all.ā
He specifically likes our 3D gifts, new collections and even his very own customized gift. Heās also been a fan of our new features such as gestures in stream, and our unique partnership with YouTube, allowing him to share his favorite videos in real-time with his entire community.Ā All these special features make Tango the ultimate home for Moh and his community.
š”10 Things You Didnāt Know about Mohš”
And now to the very special part, as we promised a sneak preview to the life of Moh, we asked him to share with us 10 things we didnāt know about him:

Live streaming makes money opportunities
For years live streaming was nothing more than a hobby for gamers looking to connect online. Today, it is quickly becoming one of the most profitable forms of content generation for both people and companies.
According to Daily E-sports,Ā live streaming increased a whopping 99% between April 2019 and April 2020. The entire live streaming industry is estimated to be worth about $70 billion today, and itās expected to grow to $180 billion worldwide by 2027.
Knowing this, ask yourself, do you want to be a part of the live streaming revolution?Ā
Whether your goal is to find new friends, be at the cutting edge of new content, or make your own income, we’ve barely begun to scratch the surface of what live streaming has to offer.
Gifts
The first time you get a gift is going to feel like a bolt of electricity running through your body. Itās a sure sign that youāre doing something right, and a great feeling to have as you begin your streaming journey.
Over time these gifts add up. As you get bigger youāll likely find more loyal fans, some of whom are willing to give a lot to your stream! Thatās an incredible situation to be in!
How do I get gifts?
Simply put – provide content people enjoy.Ā
Whether itās art, jokes, or just chatting, people love giving gifts when they feel like they’re getting something in return. Make sure you’re giving 100% to each stream, and focus on your audience’s needs.Ā
The golden rule of streaming: the more you care about your audience, the more theyāll care about you!
Stream Premium Content
One thing that motivates people to pay for streaming content is exclusivity. Rather than having the entire stream pay-per-view, have only a portion of it be paid. Leave the rest free for your loyal viewers to keep watching, something that will only encourage them to want to follow up on your new content and watch that as well.
As tempting as it might be to put your most valuable content behind a paywall and charge a premium amount for it, avoid this impulse as it will only lose you viewers.Ā
Keep the price reasonable, and you wonāt have to worry about alienating any of your loyal followers while still being able to make an income from paid-only content.
Earn Subscriptions
Whatās better than getting gifts? How about having people pay you on a monthly basis to view your content? Keep in mind that those subscribers are going to expect special treatment and content just for them. So make sure youāre giving your subscribers something unique like:
Q&A sessions.
Behind the scenes streams.
New music / routine that nobody else has heard / seen yet.
Private lessons.
Tango makes having subscribers super easy. With one click you can create special streams that only they are able to enjoy. Tango also allows subscribers to send you instant messages which makes it easy to stay in touch.Ā
You can also send them special promotions and updates about when your next stream is.
Take advantage of the opportunity to talk with and get to know your subscribers. It really is a fantastic way to connect to your audience.
Buy, Sell, and Trade in the Tango Marketplace
The Tango Marketplace is where Tango users go to buy, trade, and sell Tango cards – unique cards that every streamer with over 10,000 diamonds has or every member of the Tango Loyalty program above silver has.
You can customize your cards with your own photo and encourage your fans to buy them and hold on to them as a future investment. The more popular you become, the more expensive your card becomes as well, and when your card owner decides to sell it, you get 10% of the profits every time!
This is what makes Tango Cards such a fantastic digital asset, and what makes Tango such a unique place for live streamers to come and earn. Itās a way to make money that doesnāt require any active work on your part. All you have to do is focus on your streaming and, the bigger and better you get, the more money youāll likely make from your card!
Join the Tango Partner Program and become an Agent
Tango partners help streamers reach their highest potential by coaching them and setting up events on their behalf. In return, the Tango Agents receive 10% of all their streamersā earnings.Ā
For someone who has an agency with multiple streamers, this can mean thousands of dollars in passive income!Ā
Of course, being an agent doesnāt mean you just get to sit back and do nothing. Streamers are going to expect you to help them out and promote them so that they get more viewers, fans, and all-important gifters. Make sure that youāre looking out for and taking care of your streamers. The more you do, the more theyāll look out for you as well!
Earn Passive Income by Referring Friends
Inviting friends is a simple and fun way to earn more and have more fun while on Tango!
Every time you send out your referral link on Tango, and someone uses it to download the app, youāll get 10% of their earnings! To be clear, weāre not taking money from your friend. Your friend still keeps 100% of what they make – you just get an additional 10% from Tango as well and this will last for 2 years!
Sound to good to be true? Itās not!
Itās not only way to make a fantastic passive income and another reason to support a friend, but it also makes Tango more fun for you. Now you have a friend that you can go live with, do battles with, and enjoy succeeding together with.
Do Lessons or a Masterclasses
If your content is so good that people are reaching out to you asking for lessons – why not do it? Creating a masterclass is easy and not costly.Ā
There are a few ways to do this via livestream: the first is to offer a one-on-one lesson with one of your higher paying viewers. This makes it easier to be certain that your student is understanding the skill you are trying to teach them, and that nothing gets lost.
The second option is to do group lessons. Although it might be a bit more confusing doing a group lesson (putting others on mute might be the key here) you are able to charge multiple people the price of having a private class. It also gives your fans the chance to meet each other and build a community from your classes.
Most popular way to earn on your live stream
So, weāve given you numerous ways to earn, but out of all of them which is the most popular? The answer is probably going to surprise you… but the number one way that streamers earn money is from gifts!
If youāve never streamed before you might be a little doubtful, but the more veteran creators are already nodding their heads.
For the most part, you can expect between $1 and $2 worth of gifts during a live stream. As you progress as a streamer you might be getting a hundred dollars a month, then a thousand. Some of the most successful streamers earn a full-time salary while others are making millions!

Many live broadcasting platforms offer various features that can either help or sometimes hinder, you live streams. Here are some of the most popular places for live streaming and what you can expect from them.
What is the Best Live Streaming App?
So many choices, so little time.
Weāre going to be primarily discussing Tango in this piece since it is one of the most versatile applications when it comes to promoting artists and paying creators.
You can also use it to video chat, meet new friends, and even start your own business!
No more putting up with an annoying boss every day. Do what you love on an app like Tango. With the right pieces of advice, and a bit of preparation, itās possible for anyone to find live broadcasting success.
How to broadcast Yourself?
Do you have a cell phone and an internet connection? Congratulations! You now have all the basic tools you need to be a streamer.
Now you might be asking, āWhat do I stream about?ā
Do you like music? Great! Broadcast yourself playing guitar or singing and people will come and watch. Video games? Cooking, comedy, chatting ā whatever you love to do live streaming has an audience who would love to see it!
1. Live Broadcasting can be done from anywhere, and itās free
You had us at “free.”
Unlike lots of other types of content, you donāt need much more than a cell phone to stream (although it does help to have extra equipment, more on that later). As a result, it doesnāt matter if youāre at home or on the road, you canstream from wherever you want.
In fact, streaming on the road or while on a trip actually might make you more followers! Especially in 2021, when people are desperate to start traveling again, having a stream on the road is a great way to grab peopleās attention.
2. Live broadcasting can be a big money-maker
Hereās probably one of the biggest appeals to broadcasters: thereās a huge opportunity to earn for yourself!Ā
Download your favorite app and start filming yourself performing your best talent. Over time youāll gain followers, and those followers will give you gifts.
These gifts can be converted to cash, and that cash goes straight to you.

3. Create real connections with people, not algorithms
Streaming is instantaneous! Unlike traditional social media platforms, you donāt make a post or video up and wait for the world to stop by, youāre interacting with your audience every second.
Remember that streaming is based on real connections with people. These are relationships that youāre building that may take time, but are often way more rewarding!
4. Find the right community for you
This is the kind of fun we like to see!
Streaming is taking off quickly, so finding others who share your interests is easy and fun. You can quickly build a community around your interests by setting up special events, battles, or just introducing your fans to each other.
If you want to find a consistent audience we recommend picking a niche and sticking with it.Ā
–> Itās easy to get started
Unlike other forms of content creation, streaming is accessible to everyone.Ā
While it is a skill that takes time to learn, you donāt need any expensive equipment or connections. All you need to get started is a cell phone with an internet connection. Thatās it!Ā
Weāll discuss additional gear worth buying later on, but if you want to give it a try today all the tools you need are likely sitting in your pocket already.
How to start live broadcasting for free
Finally weāve gotten to the meat and potatoes of this post ā how to stream live!Ā
Now that audiences are used to a live streaming experience, you have a lot of fellow artists to look to. You can find inspiration and borrow from their success.Ā
Whereas before live streaming was very much the Wild West of online content, today there are a lot of professionals making it their career.
Make a profile
Nearly every app is going to have you create a profile in order to get started. Take this portion seriously and follow this advice to have a better streaming experience:
Make your profile memorable ā make sure you have a high quality photo and a simple but memorable name. Feel free to spice things up with emojis!
Double check that your profile reflects what youāre streaming about. If youāre a musician then have a photo of yourself with a guitar. Same goes for if youāre a dancer, artist, or comedian.
Let people get to know you
Really wish we could know what they were streaming about.
Authenticity is what people crave in a live stream. Being yourself is actually encouraged here. Here are some tips on letting your inner broadcaster shine:
The first stream is going to feel awkward ā thatās okay!
At the end of the day, streaming is about having fun. As long as youāre having a good time others will too.
The more you practice, the more youāll improve. Keep streaming and before long youāll look back in amazement at how far youāve progressed.
Have a broadcasting plan
A mistake that new streamers often make is they jump on the app and start streaming. While this works for some, it never hurts to stop, take a breath, and plan out your stream more strategically.
Write down your playlist if youāre doing a show or routine. You wonāt have to think about what youāll do next and can focus on your fans.
Practice a couple of times.
Donāt let mistakes get you down. Youāre likely going to get flustered or forget something at some point. Thatās okay. Laugh it off and keep going.
Plan and participate in fun events
There are tons of ways to make your streams more exciting and gain an even bigger audience:
Find other streamers and have parties and live battles.
Participate in tournaments and other events that offer big prizes and even bigger recognition.
Put on your own holiday or birthday event. Promote it ahead of time and get your fans excited to see you!
Have Fun!
The last and most important thing to remember when starting your streaming journey is to have fun!Ā
As long as you look like youāre enjoying yourself, your audience is going to feel more comfortable watching you as well.Ā
Always remember: streaming isnāt a sprint, itās a marathon.Ā
It often takes weeks, months, and sometimes years to build up a huge following. If youāre not having fun then youāre not going to be willing to put in all the necessary hours to become a successful streamer.
5 Most Common Live Broadcasting Challenges And Solutions
No matter how frustrating things might get, never kick the phone.
As fun as streaming is, youāre going to run into challenges every now and then. Donāt let them get you down!Ā
If youāre having these problems, odds are someone else has experienced them as well.Ā
1. Problem: Internet Connection Issues
One of the biggest streaming killers is having a terrible internet connection.Ā
If you plan on hosting an event then your need for high-quality internet is undoubtedly much higher. Having a much larger bandwidth will mean the difference between a fun stream vs a grainy video that reminds the audience of driving down a dirt road.
Solution:
For the casual streamer, one of the best things you can do is make sure youāre in a spot with full bars.
For larger projects, make sure you have a reliable source of internet. Things like Ethernet cables, carry-around dongles, etc. are all smart choices.Ā
Even if you think you donāt need them, get one to use as a backup just in case the Wi-Fi goes down.
2. Problem: Poor Video Quality
Nothing ruins a stream faster than shaky video quality. Your phone and computer both have a camera, but those cameras were meant for video chatting, not live streaming.
Solution:
Individual webcams for both phones and computers can be sold for under $300 ā with an incredible quality difference! If you use a cell phone, consider getting a selfie stick or LED lighting. For a traditional camera, a tripod should do the trick.
Donāt underestimate the lighting as well. Lighting is one of the most important things you can have for any stream. Make sure the light is focused on your face so everyone can see your eyes and your smile.
3. Problem: Having Sound Issues
Can you hear me now?
Most viewers are willing to forgive bad video quality if the sound is okay. If your sound is terrible though you have an almost 0% chance of building an audience.Ā
Particularly if you plan on playing music, youāre going to want to make sure to take care of these sound issues as fast as possible.
Solution:
You donāt need to spend $1000ās on Hollywood-level microphones to make sure youāre heard. In fact, the best thing for you to do is test out your microphone before you start streaming and see how things sound.Ā
If the quality is already good ā great! Much like the cameras though, you can buy a $100 microphone and be confident that nobody is going to miss a word you say.
4. Problem: My Encoder Doesnāt Work
If you plan on using several external microphones and cameras then youāre going to need an encoder as well. The issue is that the market has hundreds of these devices / software and you need to find the one that works for you.
Solution:
Determine your needs for the encoder.Ā
Are you on the go a lot? Do you need something thatās going to be compatible with an array of devices? If convenience is your goal then you can go for a software encoder. The problem with those is that they run a bit slower than hardware ones and can take up significant CPU space.Ā
Hardware encoders are going to give you the highest-quality stream you can ask for, but they certainly arenāt cheap.
5. Problem: Inconsistent Quality
Without keeping the quality steady youāre not going to have viewers sticking around for too long.
Solution:
The first thing you can do to counter inconsistent quality is probably the most obvious ā make sure you have good internet connection.Ā
If after double-checking you see that isnāt the problem, invest in an adaptive bitrate streaming solution. These systems monitor your internet connection and adjust the quality of the stream in real-time based on your broadband and CPU.
The equipment you need before you live Broadcast youself
Equipment you need:
Computer or smartphone
Webcam
Microphone
A place with a good internet connection
Your streaming app of choice
An account on that app
Equipment you donāt āneedā but should have:
Additional lighting
Tripod for your phone or webcam
A green screen or a specific background
Equipment for when youāre ready to go pro
Mixer
Encoder

2020 was a wild year for live streaming. If there’s one thing that the year proved to us was that people crave connection more than ever. With bars, restaurants, and other places that we’d taken for granted gone, people turned to live streaming to stay in touch. Quite frankly, it was nothing short of a technological miracle that, even though we were all stuck at home, we could still talk to friends and family. See their smiles, their homes, and feel just a tiny bit less alone.
Now it seems like the world is opening up again. People get to hug each other and see smiles and, honestly, things are starting to feel a little bit better. But even with things getting (somewhat) back to normal, there is no doubt that streaming is here to stay.
Today the world’s biggest tech companies are now jumping on board the streaming train and they don’t seem like they’re getting off of it any time soon. Instagram Live, Tango, Facebook Live, YouTube Live… even TikTok Live are all competing for the massively growing live streaming market that has captured the hearts and eyes of billions of people across the globe.
Thanks to human innovation and clever marketing, these live streaming apps can now be seen pretty much anywhere that people are working, socializing, learning, or relaxing. Here are just a few areas where people use live-streaming nearly every day:
Education had to take a new quick U-turn when the pandemic appeared, and kids worldwide started going to school online while teachers went live to teach and moderate. But online streaming education isn’t just for school children. There are so many more webinars available for those who want to learn and use their spare time to discover new things, grow themselves professionally, or perfect a new hobby.
The way people showcase their business has changed as well. Most of the best companies have updated their marketing strategies and now focus on getting a more substantial online presence, especially by pushing videos that promote their services. Stats say that there is a huge percentage of people that buy online products after seeing just one video.
With streaming now in the picture, companies are realizing that they have to work a lot harder, but they get to create those intimate connections with people that only streaming can provide. But they’re also discovering that those connections come with huge rewards in the way of lifelong loyalty from those customers.
Employees are also streaming to feel closer to their coworkers. As anyone who worked full-time through the pandemic can likely attest to, it gets a little lonely when you’re going from working in a large and crowded office to sitting by yourself in your home office. Of course, parents might disagree. They never got a moment alone, even during the pandemic.
With streaming bringing people together no matter the space between them, there is a huge surge in social and romantic long-distance relationships, causing a massive boom for apps and platforms where you can interact live with real people anytime. During such times, it is very important to pay attention to live-streaming apps like Tango Live, as people from around the world are discovering the joy of having friends who live in a totally different time zone.
While the need and desire to livestream more is here, the technology and infrastructure still has a little catching up to do. Thankfully, it seems that in a very short time live streaming will be bigger and better than ever.
Live Streaming and Technology 5G
Of all the critical technologies that will significantly improve the Livestreaming experience, 5G is leading the way. 5G, or the fifth generation of mobile communication, has the ability to reduce latency time and improve the quality of the streams themselves.
Think about how fast 4G is. 5G is going to be 20 times faster. The time it takes for 5G to transmit data is predicted to be anywhere from 4 milliseconds, to one millisecond. This technology opens the door to not only better live streams, but to makes possible technologies like self driving cars or remote surgeries.
How long will it take until this future tech is part of everyday life? If we look back in history, 4G LTE it was made commercially available in 2009. It wasnāt until 2013 that 4G LTE had replaced the now-defunct 3G networks. Based on that timeline, we predict that 5G wonāt be fully available at a global scale until 2022 or 2023.
Edge Computing
Despite the promise of faster bandwidth in the next few years, the worldās data use is growing at a rate that even 5G might now be able to keep up with. The IDC, or International Data Corporation, predicts that by 2025 we will have as much as 175 zettabytes of data in existence – 61% more than there is today.
Since data is stored in a central location (such as a central server or the cloud) a networkās bandwidth will be pushed to its absolute limit with this data increase. Edge computing attempts to mitigate this issue, by moving all data processing and storage units to the āedge,ā or closer to the devices that are producing that information such as computers, factory robots, or routers.
This reduces the need for centralized servers or even cloud computing, and helps to reduce the amount of data attempting to reach these devices all at the same time. As a result, edge computing promises to reduce latency even more than 5G would on its own. As we enter into the age of the āinternet of thingsā (when everything we own is connected to the internet) edge computing could reduce download time, improve streaming, and, under certain circumstances, even save lives.
New Protocols for Low Latency
What is a protocol? In a nutshell, a protocol is a rule that governs how data travels between one system to another. You no doubt know what an IP address is, IP actually stands for Internet Protocol. Your IP address dictates how your device communicates with other devices and how they communicate with you.
The streaming industry has been hard at work to develop new protocols that will make streaming faster and easier for the masses. These include protocols like WebRTC (real time interactivity without needing to be plugged in), SRT (better playback, no lag), Low-Latency CMAF (decreased latency), and Low-Latency HLS (latency lower than 2 seconds, courtesy of Apple).
These are all available today and, overtime, are going to be felt throughout the entire streaming industry making for faster, higher-quality streams than ever before.
AI and Machine Learning
Companies are already taking advantage of AI and machine learning to improve their usersā experiences on their streaming platforms. Just look at companies like TikTok, whose infamous algorithm makes it possible for anyone, no matter how popular, to have their videos viewed by interested users.
As AI and machine learning improve itās likely that these algorithms will become far more dynamic, able to make complicated real-time decisions based on a userās history. While this might sound a little spooky, itās projected to make streaming much more personalized – giving viewers the streams they like while making sure that streamers are able to find more fans.
Automatic Language Translations
Streaming is all about interconnectivity, allowing people from all over the world to talk and connect. Unfortunately, unlike Facebook, nothing is being written down. People are talking to each other in their native languages and so if youāre an American and you want to see someone streaming in Japan, you two better hope that you speak the same language because Google Translate isn’t going to work here.
At least for now. There are promising technologies that are working to be able to translate what someone is saying and have it written into subtitles in real time. One of the most prominent is Microsoft Azureās Cognitive Speech Services. This software promises to be able to translate one language into another, meaning that a global audience can watch one stream and actually understand what is going on no matter what language they speak.
What Live Streaming Will Be Used For
These technologies may sound impressive, but they’re only a few years off. When they finally go mainstream we may see a streaming explosion that will make 2020 look like just a taste test.
Shopping
According to Insider Intelligence, China is projected to generate about $132 billion in live streaming sales in 2021, proving that the West has hardly scratched the surface of live streamingās commercial potential.
This is because China isnāt just selling beauty products or other small-scale items from individual influencers, huge companies are taking advantage of this new technology in order to earn massive profits. The biggest example was Alibabaās Taobao Live platform, which generated $61.7 billion in overall revenue for the company in 2020.
Itās clear that US companies got the message and are jumping on board as well. Facebook has launched the new Live Shopping Fridays, where major American companies like Petco and Abercrombie & Fitch are selling products on live streams. Some of these streams are nothing more than just one person holding a camera; not exactly exploding in production value.
Theyāre far from alone though,
has worked with Walmart to create numerous live shopping events. Then thereās Amazon, where the new Amazon Live space is looking to allow sellers to demonstrate their products, likely in hopes of repeating the success of companies like Taobao.
Influencer Economy
This is going to mean a big change for influencers as well. Since the dawn of the internet most user-generated content has been curated and prepared well in advance. This rise of the Instagram-influencer type model who portrays the look and feel of wealth and success thanks to crafty lense work may soon disappear with the rise of Livestreaming.
Livestreaming doesnāt allow influencers the luxury of being able to set up an elaborate set and trick the audience into thinking that theyāre living the āhigh life.ā Instead itās based on authenticity and genuine connection. Users are looking to actually get to know these streamers, and get a sense of who they are as people.
Those who are able to connect on a level that inspires their followers, or at least entertains them in real time, are able to acquire a large following and become an āinfluencer.ā Rather than being able to hide behind fancy equipment or sets with high production value, those wishing to be the next generation of influencers have to rely solely on their talent and ability to entertain. This is a trend that weāre very excited about seeing.
Are Livestreams the Future for Musicians?
Even before Covid-19, fans and musicians were flocking to live streams in massive numbers. This has everyone wondering: could livestreaming be the future of the music industry?
Letās face it, the past 2 decades have not been great for musicians. Between online piracy, streaming services and record labels that hold on to huge portions of artistsā profits, and a global pandemic,Ā making a living as a musician is harder than ever.
This might explain why so many musicians are turning to a new type of content medium. One whose growth in theĀ last 5 yearsĀ was over 130% and is expected to be worth anywhere from $180 –Ā $250 billionĀ by 2027.
To understand why livestreaming may be making such a revolutionary impact in the field of music, we first need to understand its history, and how we got to a point that so many of our societyās talented musicians are looking for a change.
The Changes in the Industry
Where it Started
For most of music history, looking for new talent meant actually going to bars, pubs, and clubs either on your own or (hopefully) with a few friends.Ā The BeatlesĀ didnāt just walk up to producer George Martin and demand that he recordĀ Please, Please MeĀ for them. They were discovered playing in bars in Liverpool and Hamburg, and invited by the studio to make an album.
The good news is that today you donāt have to go from open mic to open mic hoping you stumble across a sound you enjoy. In a world connected by computersĀ you can discover new music and musicians on a daily basisĀ from your home.
Technology Changes Music
From the earliest days of the internet a permanent shift was made in how audiences found their next favorite song. One site in particular would change how music was enjoyed and listened to by millions of fans, and beginĀ a struggle between artists, fans, labels, and online platformsĀ that has lasted until today.
NapsterĀ was a simple yet ingenious concept. By allowing data to be compressed into an mp3 file it could be shared between millions through a peer-to-peer network. All for free.
Naturally, artists werenāt thrilled about no longer making royalties, and the site was brought down by a $300 million lawsuit. Instead of stopping illegal downloads, Napsterās fall allowed for dozens of other sites to take its place, andĀ free music downloading spread like wildfire.
Enter Music Live Streaming
Revenues for the music industry were in freefall, and nobody had any clue what to do. Who wants to buy CDs when every song you love is available online for free? Apple tried to create a profitable market with Ā iTunes, allowing users to purchase a song for download for a mere 99 cents. But it still wasnāt free, and people kept pirating music.
It got so bad, that by 2008, the IFPI estimated thatĀ 95% of all digital music was beingĀ downloaded illegally. Every time law enforcement successfully shut one down, another site stepped in to take its place.
Clearly paying for downloads wasnāt working, opening the door for streaming. In 2005 three former PayPal employees launched YouTube. Although not the first video streaming site it quickly exploded in popularity, particularly for music.
In 2006 and 2007Ā music streamingĀ sites like Spotify and Pandora were launched, bringing millions of listeners away from piracy and towards more legitimate sharing sites. Clearly, these companies were on to something.
How Does Streaming Work?
Streaming technology worked in a surprisingly simple way: a platform would deliver continuous data in small amounts to the user, who would get a pre-buffered song or album on their device.
With a powerful enough connection and broadband, users could get an unlimited amount of music delivered straight to them no matter the size of their device, since nothing was ever stored or saved.
Streaming Faces an Uphill Battle
In 2011, 80% of music sales were dominated by physical sales. By 2020 streaming had changed the market, andĀ 85% of all salesĀ were now digital.
Despite these impressive figures the industry still hasn’t managed to match the peak of its success inĀ 2001. While streaming brought those figures up, much of its success was believed to be due to people making the switch from physical to digital. That growth is slowing down though.
BetweenĀ 2014 to 2015, the streaming industry grew by an impressive 32%, a trend that more or less continued up until 2018. Between 2018 and 2019,Ā music streaming grew less than 20%.
Iās unclear whether or not these services will be able to provide a sustainable financial model in the future.Ā MIDiA Research has predictedĀ that by 2026, the streaming industry can realistically expect a growth of 7%. This is considered, by investment standards, to be stagnation.
Can the streaming industry overcome this? Unfortunately growth isnāt its only issue.Ā Streaming has been a magnet for controversy.
Streaming Controversy
Earlier this year the British DCMS, orĀ Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport, engaged in a series of hearings to determine whether artists are being paid fairly by streaming services. While the streaming services themselves are arguing that they pulled the music industry from the brink of destruction, artists are complaining of beingintimidated into silenceĀ and oneĀ record bossĀ described it as āliving in cuckoo land.ā
According to the hearings, artists can be paid as little as 13% of the income generated via streaming, receiving as little as $0.0028 to $0.0052 per stream on Spotify and about $0.0081 on Apple Music. As a result, artists have been forced to rely on touring in order to earn for their music.
By the end of the hearings, chair of the DCMS Committee, Julian Knight MP said:
āWhile streaming has brought significant profits to the recorded music industry, the talent behind it – performers, songwriters and composers – are losing out.ā
Is There a Better Way?
The First Livestream
History was made on June 24, 1993 at a little place called Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, California. There, a group of scientists and researchers had come together to form a band,Ā Severe Tire Damage.
That band of accomplished researchers, in coordination with computers from Xerox PARC, Apple, and DEC Systems, created theĀ worldās first music livestream, heard as far away as Australia.
Livestreaming Goes Mainstream
In 1998 peopleĀ began to take livestreaming seriouslyĀ after George Washington University hosted the Third Way Politics in the Information Age webcast with a very special guest host; then-President Bill Clinton.
A year prior, live streaming was pushed to its limits. 4 friends broadcasted a 24/7 livestream of Justin living his life. That site, originally known as Justin.tv, eventually became Twitch.tv, now one of the most popular livestreaming sites in the world.
However, livestreaming has one company above all to thank for its explosive success. YouTube. In 2008 YouTube hosted itās very first YouTube Live. Just 3 years after the companyās founding, celebrities like Katy Perry, Smosh, and Bo Burnham were being interviewed and interacting with fans, all in real time.
Is This Growth Sustainable?
The number one question on everyoneās mind when entering into a new content medium is: is this trend going to continue?
Currently, livestreamingās financial growth has aĀ predictedĀ increase of 20% year over year from now until 2025.
Viewership is a different story, industry analysts are seeing a trend there with enormous potential: a 50% yearly increase, not accounting for 2020 which saw a 70% rise in viewership during the Covid-19 pandemic.
For new artists looking to get involved in livestreaming itās important to begin with the correct mindset:
Livestreaming should not be relied on as aĀ single source of income. For the majority of new streamers it will be a way to ensure that the majority of their musical income is going into their pockets. Like all new content creators though, it will take time before that art becomes full time. The good news is that they have a better shot at live streaming than they do on traditional streaming platforms.
Creating a followingĀ is easier than ever. Livestreaming devices can now be connected to social media which means that fans being discovered while performing live can easily follow new artists. This ability to build a following is not only free, itās profitable as well and can be done entirely independently.
The Future is Live
Streaming as a technology is a constantly evolving technology that is still in its early stages. Originally designed as a counter to the endless music piracy online, it has now become theĀ primary income generating technology for the music industry. Sadly, while it has been good for the industry as a whole, it has not been good for artists.
Live streaming is an attempt to balance the scales.Ā To bring the power and income back to the creator. As musicians both famous and just starting out make the choice to move their music to live streaming, it is possible that we will see a major shift in the power and focus within one of the biggest industries in entertainment.
Ultimately, it will be up to the artists themselves to decide whether or not they will take control of their own music. It might be difficult at the beginning, but being able to keep your music profits is something that no artist should turn away from.
Why You Need to Explore Tango Live
Whereas many people feel that technology is separating them, Tango is one of the best streaming apps that are actually making people feel closer to each other. Whether it’s connecting with friends and family, or learning more about a product or service in a way that’s specific to you, streaming on Tango makes people feel less alone than they may have felt in quite awhile.
Not to mention that during challenging times (like a pandemic) having a streaming community is the safest and most responsible way to stay in touch with people close to you. You will be able to create a community, find a ton of fans, and, with enough perseverance, you might be able to quit your job and start a business in the streaming field.
The Best way to Follow your Dreams
Tango Live is the best way to adapt to these new fast-changing times by following your dreams, passions, and hobbies. The beauty of this field is that it leaves plenty of room for your imagination. Use Tango live to create movie and game characters, show off your talents, or even provide make-up or music tutorials.
On Tango Live you Get Paid to Broadcast
Meeting people all over the world was never more accessible, especially for the fans and followers that share your beliefs or have the same sorts of hobbies.
You can become a full-time broadcaster, earning a monthly salary by monetizing your supporters on a platform with over 350 million users waiting to view your talents and interact with you. Quite frankly it’s surprising at times just how much Tango’s unique content creators earn per month by simply live-streaming to those high-paying supporters on Tango Live!
Livestreamingās Explosive Growth
Today it seems like every site, from TikTok to Reddit, is investing in livestreaming. They all offer, with limitations, opportunities for content creators to produce live entertainment in various forms.
This has also led to the growth of various livestreaming apps.Ā Tango is one of the biggest front-runners in this world. It offers artists the opportunity to monetize their art in a way that traditional streaming simply canāt offer.
Tango and Livestreaming Musicians
Unlike with streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube, or iTunes, streaming apps like Tango donāt take the lionās share of the artistsā earnings. Instead,Ā 70% of every dollar made on the app goes directly to the artist.
Not only that, but Tango allows for artists to collaborate, interact with fans, and put on concerts that they are in control of. No more managers, venue owners, or production assistants reaching into the pockets of the artists who are driving the broadcasts forward.
Is Live Streaming the Future?
Currently, live streaming concert sales amount toĀ $20 billion worldwide, with an estimated growth of nearlyĀ 2%Ā each year. ThatāsĀ just for organized music sales though, which generally benefit the professionals whose concert sales can attract global audiences.
For many musical stars, selling tickets at a cheaper price with the potential to reach a much larger audience is preferable to touring worldwide and performing for a limited audience.
At a time when āonline content is kingā many artists are sparing no expense to create a livestreaming audience that translates into real dollars. This includes major stars for whom finding fans isnāt an issue.
Sofi Tukker, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, Dua Lipa, BTS and numerous other celebrities turned to live streaming platforms to keep the show going at a time when leaving the house wasnāt an option for much of the world.
Even as the world opens its doors again, celebrity musicians seem unwilling to give up this newly discovered revenue stream. In an interview withĀ Time, Timbaland explained:
āWeāre going to have a hybrid of both live and digital because as you can see the way the world is going. We still like to go out, but this gives us an option.ā
Not Just for Celebrities
While platforms like Instagram Live, YouTube Live, and Twitch are earning artists a much larger percentage of revenue that they would on Spotify (by Spotifyās ownĀ estimates,Ā 97% of their artists are making less than $1000 a month), new artists are coming in to a market where their competition is literally the likes of Taylor Swift and Dua Lupe.
For those new artists looking to build a fan base and expand reach around the world,Ā apps like Tango make the most sense.Ā Not only does Tango not require any previous followers, it is also free, and doesn’t need the use of any special equipment in order to set everything up and get started.
As an example, on Tango musician, Lelya, the chance toĀ reach out to fans and earn moneyĀ on her own is an incredible opportunity. Having only started in May 2020, Lelya has since become one of the top earners on Tango. HerĀ live musical performancesĀ have already earned her 20,000 fans, including increased traffic to her YouTube and social media accounts.

āAs the world becomes accustomed to live streaming, Tango is becoming one of the best platforms to have a charity stream.ā
#StayStrongIndia.
This hashtag can be found all throughout the country, from the Burj Khalifa tower to the hundreds of thousands of individuals posting it across social media. But there has been one special place where this hashtag has done the most good
– live streaming – and specifically, on the Tango app, where users who had regularly made thousands of dollars thanks to āgiftsā from their fans are now taking that money and instead donating it to families in India who are suffering from the coronavirus.
Tango was quick to notice the trend and began a #StayStrongIndia gift that allowed users to celebrate Indiaās strength and unity in the face of the disease, while also giving their money to a great cause! All of this with just one click on a totally unique gift. Simple, easy, and a refreshing reminder of technologyās ability to unite us as we fight for the common good.
This is a beautiful display of how effective stream-based charityĀ on the Tango appĀ can be; and it has only inspired streamers to use their large platforms, intimate connections with followers, and their passion to raise money for friends, fellow streamers, and important causes. Fundraising has been one of the many things tying communities together on streaming apps, for Tango and for other platforms, and itās not a stretch to say that it will likely become theĀ future of mainstream fundraisingĀ very soon.
Tango is Leading the Change:
This past year, a surprising and inspiring number of people have changed from streaming for fun, to streaming for a grander purpose ā to help others less fortunate than themselves. As coronavirus devastated (and continues, in many places to devastate) communities around the world, Tango streamers began working together to raise money to donate to those affected by this terrible virus.
While using a streaming platform to solicit donations isnāt something new, coronavirus has accelerated its popularity. Today livestream philanthropy can be seen for a wide variety of issues, from stopping global warming and soliciting funds to donate for cancer research, to something smaller and more personal, like helping a friend or neighbor in need.
Stream for Charity
One example was a popular Tango streamer (whose real name cannot be used) who told her fans that all money given to her during her streams would not end up in her bank account but would rather be donated to those people whose jobs have been affected by the global pandemic.
Another time streamers found out that one of their members had been diagnosed with bone cancer, and turned to their followers asking for help. In both cases, streamers making heartfelt pleas to their fans resulted in thousands of dollars being raised.
Tango Fundraising Today
Currently this type of Tango fundraising has been seen more regularly in India, where coronavirus is still in full steam. In one instance, a grandmother decided to use this next-gen technology as a way to raise money for her daughter and two grandchildren. In her own words, āIt all started when my daughter had two babies, born deaf and mute. It inspired me to help mothers with special needs children, since I understand their struggles. Everything I earn goes to the parents.ā
More than just A Trend
Streamers are discovering they can make a huge difference via a live virtual fundraiser In an era where bad news seems to be around every corner it was heartwarming for the community managers on Tango to see just how much this trend was accelerating. Every week it seems that a new streamer is on the app asking for donations. What is even more impressive is that people are responding. Many are much more willing to give money if they believe that their money is going to a good purpose. Even if it is for something more individualistic ā like the host whose father has bone cancer ā users feel more intimately attached to the host and are more likely to feel these hardships more personally.Ā This personal connection translates to dollars and cents from dozens, if not hundreds, of concerned users.
Working Better Together
Streamers donāt just work alone either. Many Tango streamers will find each other so that they can do battles and group streams to get a larger audience and bigger donations. Itās a pretty brilliant idea, and when asked about this one of the streamers simply said, āWe just thought we can use the platform in the best way ever. We choose a member of the community that needs our help, go on one stream all together and help the streamerās exposure. This way they are seen in the āpopularā tab, getting hundreds of entries, and many gifts from the community and outside of it.ā EvenĀ Tango CEO Uri RazĀ decided to weight in on the situation. In a recent interview Raz stated, āLive-streaming has become the next digital economy and we are grateful to be able to support people globally in more ways than we could have imagined. Our unique gifting experience via mobile micro-transactions helped facilitate this special campaign.ā Even though these monetary donations are taking off, it may still be just the beginning.
No doubt, as more people begin understanding just how effective hosting a streaming fundraiser can be, we will be seeing many more of these. Fundraising used to only be done via word of mouth, television, and then social media. Now these things have all come together to create a type of charity run that is able to cast a wide net while still managing to be incredibly personal.Ā āÆ
History of Streaming Fundraising
Back in the 1970s, 1980s, and beyond, having a telethon was the most popular and well-known way of raising money from a large audience. People would tune in at all hours of the night to watch celebrities and other entertainers perform and speak as they encouraged people to call in and pledge donations for important causes. Today, the internet has streamlined that process. While pages like gofundme.com were sometimes effective, they often felt impersonal, and relied on others sharing the page in order to reach a large enough audience to generate a significant amount of donations.
Back to Present
live streamingĀ has taken over as the medium of choice for a new generation ā one that is often more plugged in and aware of global issues ā to raise money for charities or for individuals who have fallen on hard times. Popular streams can attract thousands of loyal viewers who tune in on a regular basis to watch their favorite streamer do anything from play video games, music, dance, to literally just sitting and talking. When it comes time to raise money though, streamers will work alone, or with other hosts, often putting on special events like auctions, prizes, and generating reward tiers as a way to incentivize users to donate. While this method of fundraising has been around since at least 2010, coronavirus has sped up the rate at which people are turning to streaming for their philanthropic needs. On Twitch, for example, users on the platform donated $75 million between 2010 and 2017. 2020ās donation record exceeded those 7 years combined, with users having given an impressiveĀ $83 million in one single year!
Who Is Raising The Most Money?
One of theĀ many streamers who have donatedĀ is Benjamin āDrLupoā Lupo. Together with his 3.6 million fans, he managed to raise over $2.3 million for St. Jude during his 24-hour live stream. āAs soon as the charity [streams] became a prominent feature – something that people wanted to see more of from me – I jumped on board,āĀ Lupo said in an interview withĀ The Washington Post.Ā āThe goal of it is to help people that canāt help themselves.ā While this is an impressive and noble feat on its own, DrLupo is not even close to earning the most amount ofĀ money from live streaming. According to Guinness World Records, theĀ most amount of moneyĀ ever made from live streaming was done not by a single individual, but during an event known as Z Event in Montpellier, France. Z Event normally attracts thousands whoĀ come together to play video games, stream, and raise money for important issues. During the week of October 16 ā 19, 2020 rather than come together physically to raise money, these gamers remained at home ā just like the rest of the world.
Simply by playing as a group, 30 of Franceās most popular gamers managed to raise an astounding ā¬5.7 million (or $6,757, 240) over the course of those days. It was aĀ historicĀ moment for streaming-based philanthropy, and the money was donated to Amnesty International. ⯠⯠āÆ
How to do a Charity Livestream
The world is racing towards virtual fundraising and it doesnāt seem like itās turning around anytime soon. As a result, anyone looking to raise money for important causes might want to consider hosting an online streaming event. Creating one should not be an overwhelming challenge, and can be accomplished inĀ 3 easy steps.
Step 1: Find the Right Platform
The right platform is going to very much depend on what the streamerās talent is. For video games, a Twitch charity stream is the obvious platform to use. It is a massive hub of gamers, attracting over 140 million people each month who follow the most popular gamers and listen to their comments, jokes, and inputs, all while being able to watch their favorite video game.
Even though Twitch is still the undisputed king of video game streaming, YouTube Live, the streaming arm of YouTube, is reportedly trying to peel viewers away from them by signing exclusive contracts with esports broadcasters. Not to mention that YouTube Live and Facebook Live are two of the biggest streaming platforms. Although saturation is high for both (these 2 platforms regularly see over 2 billion visitors a month) their large audience is perfect for the most creative of streaming philanthropists, or those who already have a large following or big name.
ForĀ artists and musicians, Tango is the biggest up and comer and the ideal platform. Currently it has the title as one of the fastest growing streaming apps in the world, seeing a record 30-50 thousand new users every day. This internationally beloved app is the prime choice for many people, offering streamers the chance to connect with international users on global issues that affect all of humanity. A perfect opportunity to connect users from every corner of the globe.
Step 2: Promote the Event
Itās never a good idea for streamers to just wait until the day of the event and then expect users to show up, itās better to use the power of the internet and social media to make sure that as many people as possible know about the charity livestream event beforehand. Even first-time streamers have a much larger network than they usually realize, and as a result they would benefit from getting the world out to this group of people ā particularly if itās for a charity that would significantly benefit.
TheĀ best practicesĀ for promotion include posting on social media, making sure the time and date is clear, including the link to the stream, and asking people to share. Often, the more people that know about it ahead of time, the better the chances that theyāll be present for the livestream event.
Step 3: Have a Goal for the Event
Having a goal might sound trivial to many streamers, but itās one of the most important things for any platform user to do for several reasons. The first is that it helps audiences feel more engaged if they know they are working towards something. From a more practical perspective, this also lets the host know how long the stream should be, and what amount of donation they should ask for from each person. Itās also a good way to measure other relevant metrics and improve for the next charity stream.
Q&A – Charity Live Stream
Are Stream Donations Tax Deductible?
The jury is still out on this one a little, under certain circumstances they can be, but it would be best to ask an accountant or tax attorney to verify that the stream being donated to is one that can be written off.
What Do You Talk About in a Charity Livestream?
Always talk about why you created the fundraiser and how much it means to you. But feel free to talk about yourself, who this charity is for, and how much the charity will help. Feel free to have pre recorded material as well and donāt feel nervous about getting the people viewing your stream to talk rather than just putting all the pressure on yourself.
What Equipment Do You Need for a Charity Fundraiser?
Studies show that viewers will tolerate no more than 90 seconds of a bad stream before leaving. As a result, itās a good idea to invest in even some basic camera and audio equipment, along with lights, a mixer, and an encoder.
Is Streaming for More Than Just Video Games?
Absolutely. This industry has already grown to be worth over $70 billion in 2021 all due to a variety of creators. By 2027 some predict that worldwide streaming might be worth as much as $184 billion!
Do Streamers Get Paid for Doing Live Streams?
Some live streamers get paid a flat fee for doing a livestream, but only if a charity is willing to pay them. For the most part, live streamers do charity streams in order to support a cause that they believe in.

Live Streaming Changed The Music Industry
Even without Covid, more and more people are logging on to streaming services.
In 2003 Steve Jobs once confidently proclaimed, “The subscription model of buying music is bankrupt!” He made this bold prediction while standing on stage in front of thousands, holding up the most revolutionary technology of the day- the Apple iPod. Fast forward almost 12 years, and it seems like Apple isn’t so hubristic. Or, as current Apple CEO Tim Cook wisely stated, “Music has had a rich history of change.”
Today that change is happening faster than ever; subscription-based streaming services like Spotify and even Apple Music are dominating. Covid cancelled concerts and live performances, and even though bars and venues are (thankfully) reopening, many fans still haven’t abandoned the now-familiar live streaming platform.
What Does The Future Hold For Live Streaming?
As the music industry continues to grow by double digits each year, labels and artists have to adapt to creating music that stands out and connects with their fans. Enter live streaming, one of the only technologies that holds the power to bring artists face-to-face with their fans on a global scale. An advantage not lost on the major record labels.
Soon, no doubt, major stars like Drake and Rihanna will begin offering exclusive streaming concerts as well – an acoustic set perhaps with only a few hundred lucky fans in attendance. Remember that you heard it here first.
Musicians can and should go Live
Up and coming musicians can now create and build a following by streaming live and chatting with fans directly. Not only that, but streaming your music and your sound allows your fans to give their input right away. Have a new song or idea? Play it, and the results will be immediately forthcoming.
So how does the up and coming rock / popstar get in ahead of the curve?
In comes Tango – the chance for you to provide exclusive access to your fans with live shows, special events, and real-time interactions with fans, all while earning an income (so much for the “starving artist” stigma).
As Tim Cook said, “Music has had a rich history of change… some of which weāve played a part in.” There has never been a better time in history for you to play that part in the next musical revolution.

How did you get to Tango?
Although I am busy both with work and university studies, my real passion is to be famous, so I started live streaming on apps. What do you love about Tango?
On Tango, you can communicate with many people all over the world and you can attract your viewers by showing your talents. I love to sing and dance (hip hop and salsa are my favorite!). , and I wouldnāt be able to get support for my performances without Tango. I also love the Tango community – discovering new people and talking with them on Tango has helped me make friends and enjoy this diverse and talented community.
She is a very sweet streamer, sheās a great and polite speaker, and she just reached 1 million diamonds which is very well-deserved!

First I would like to lose the weight I gained during Covidššš

This month, our Broadcaster Spotlight shines on a beautiful and extremely talented singer – Malisa!
Not only is she one of our favorite artists on Tango, but she was also the winner of one of Malaysia’s biggest music reality shows: Rockanova!
After Covid-19 sadly shut down live performances, Malisa did what many artists were forced to do – she took to social media, and did everything she could to keep up her creativity. She began with long distance collaborations with colleagues, exploring the digital platforms and choosing the one that gave her the best chance for success.
This super star is not letting anything hold her back, and we had the chance to catch up with her for a little while! Malisa has only been streaming on Tango since February, where she stole our hearts from the very first moment. Weāre sure that after this interview youāll fall in love with her as well.
How did you start your musical career?
āMy musical career started very early! My father was a talented guitarist, always jamming, which deeply affected us as children. Music was around the house growing up, and thanks to this I started singing at about 5 years old. My siblings are all into music as well which has given us a deep connection with each other. I started singing in school choirs, and shortly after began attending many competitions. By the time I was 23 I was performing professionally in clubs in Malaysia. In 2017 I won Rockanova, which was such an honor!ā
Why did you choose to stream on Tango specifically?
“Like many of my fellow musicians, I lost my job during this pandemic, and it was such a sudden shock to all of us. Even though I couldn’t perform on stage anymore, music had been my life and I was determined to keep performing in some way. Iād heard about how some artists were switching to streaming, and I was a bit curious about it. So I went to my app store and searched for Live Streaming options, and found Tango!
They really care about their users there, and I think itās amazing how they were offering a chance for artists to keep supporting themselves! I believe that Tango is the best place for performers, it gives you the option to keep doing what you love no matter what. It was such a great place to build such a cool community of artists and musicians from everywhere in the world!ā
“Tangoās community inspires me since itās a place not only for streamers, but for artists and musicians…”
How was your first stream?
āIt was awesome! Compared to a lot of the other apps that Iāve seen, the audio and picture quality is really good. They also have so many choices for cute gifts! And all for really affordable prices too which never hurts.ā
Do you feel like the Tango community inspires you?
āYes, definitely. Tangoās community inspires me since itās a place not only for streamers, but for artists and musicians who have a love and passion for music. Like with my siblings, I have a strong connection to people who appreciate music, and Tango lets me meet someone new everyday who also has that same love and appreciation! Whatās amazing is that I can get to know people around the world, make friends, and make money to support myself! The most enjoyable part is when I get a beautiful or unique gift from a fan showing their appreciation. And I get to party with musician friends!
I wanna say thank you so much to those who followed me and always show up to my stream to support me! Thank you so much and I will try my hardest to always give the best content!ā
Are you really making a living on Tango?
āYes of course! And it is a fact!
Covid hurt a lot of businesses around the world and venues are not reopening so quickly. It seems like they feel eager (and I agree) to first repair the damage and then add the entertaining part back. I don’t think live performance will ever be the same again.
Tango totally changed the experience of performance for me, since I’m not depending on bookings or agents. I am in charge of everything, from marketing to the actual performance, and it’s great! I pay my bills from what I earn on Tango and I feel so blessed.ā
Who inspires you?
āMy family are my biggest supporters and my greatest inspiration.
But I feel like you can be inspired by many people, and I find inspiration in everything all the time.ā
Once you follow her you will be notified when she goes live, so you will never miss a stream!

The Art of Being A Gifterš
Tango would not be able to exist without its wonderful live streamers. Their many different and unique talents are on full display for every viewer to enjoy at any time. There is another valuable member on Tango, however, one that often gets overlooked yet is just as critical to a streamersā lifecycle ā the gifter.
Gifters supportingĀ Streamers
Gifts from viewers support streamers and allow them to monetize their performances. It is no different than tipping a performer after enjoying their show. Whether a user is streaming their talents on the side or for fun as a hobby, performers need viewers to support their skills in order to stream for longer periods of time.
We all have bills to pay – so do entertainers. Engaging with and supporting their streaming talents is the best way for them to continue performing on Tango.
Therefore, if you donāt just watch livestreams on Tango, but also play an active role as a gifter, you are keeping streamers streaming for longer. In many cases, you are keeping your favorite Tango personalities from deciding they can no longer stream. You are keeping the dreams of a career on camera alive.
It may surprise you that many streamers, especially those who have made it a career, stream for over 8 hours a day. Between preparation, equipment, interacting with their community of fans and followers, and streaming, Tango has become their full-time job..
A good thing to keep in mind next time youāre watching one of Tango Liveās many talented performers – would you consider showing your appreciation by being a gifter?š

Whether itās showing off your talents, streaming a new hobby, or sharing about your day – Tango is all about community and support for creative content.
Itās not always easy to know how to get started on Tango and what type of content engages most with viewers, so we gathered some Tango Tips to help you succeed.
šBRING GOOD VIBES:
Positive energy attracts people, it is a fact! Come as your best self to make your streams personable and authentic. Unleash your individuality!
šBE PREPARED:
The best tool to succeed is to come prepared & think about where you’re broadcasting.
āPick the right stream Title and Photo:
You’re a Musician? Choose a title and photo that reflects this stream’s performance and shows off your talents.
āBackground:
Find a place to stream where you feel comfortable. Your background should be simple but appealing (no dirty socks laying around). Canāt find a good background? No problem, simply use one of Tangoās in-app filters.
āLocation & Lighting:
Whether indoor or outdoor, make sure the camera is steadily placed on a hard surface and that the light is flattering so you and your stream are visible. After all, why do jewelry stores have such great lighting? So that the diamonds shine brighter! Choose a place thatās bright and well-lit, and without any backlighting so your face is clear and viewers can see you.
āSound Check:
Check your phoneās audio levels before you broadcast and ensure your location does not have any loud or interrupting noises. Background music is always helpful to set the right atmosphere and positive vibes. If youāre a musician, we recommend to invest in a Plugin for the best quality sound.
āInternet:
To enjoy Tangoās high video quality, make sure you have working internet connection wherever you are streaming. Low or Poor connection greatly affects a streamās success and popularity. High speed WIFI is your best option, it will keep the image clear and detailed.
š¤ENGAGE WITH YOUR AUDIENCE:
āIntroduce Yourself to New Viewers:
Give viewers time to join your live stream before you start with your show. Use the first moments to introduce yourself and tell the audience what they can expect.
āInteract with Fans:
Engage with viewers when they visit your stream and let them engage back. Greet them, make them feel welcome, ask for feedback or questions, and keep the conversation going. Musicians – ask for Song Requests from your audience and let them interact and give suggestions while live.
āRecognize your Gifters:
Remember who your gifters are and befriend them. Welcome frequent viewers by name and show gratitude every time they send you gifts. You can check your Top Gifters anytime in your Profile Menu.
āExplore Community:
Tango is all about live interactions. Explore new connections and friendships with cool features (such as Party streams and Battles) to help you grow your community and reach new heights!
